Make a Statement – Naturally!

Open to all! Unleash your inner fashion design skills and enter the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival Adult Design Challenge Competition! Clothing and accessory entries must be original designs, and can be woven, crocheted, felted or knitted, and the material can be any natural fiber. (All finished entries must be a minimum of 75% natural materials.)

Adult Design Challenge

PRINT OFF ENTRY FORM

Bring entry forms and fees to the Activity Center, Friday: 8:00 – 5:00, Saturday: 8:00 – 2:30. One entry per form.

Each ADULT individual entry, along with a $10 entry fee, must be identified with the following printed information:

  1. Name of person entering garment or accessory; complete address, telephone/email address of contestant;
  2. Check CATEGORY
  3. Full description of the item(s) entered;
  4. Natural fiber(s) utilized in construction of entry
  5. A brief statement describing the inspiration for your entry.
  6. Questions: Text/email Lisa Shuppe, [email protected], 262-573-3110.
  7. DO NOT enter items that have been entered in previous years.

Judging will take place in the Activity Center, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Sunday. Judging is open to the public, but please, no talking or questions during the judging phase. Results will be posted and entries open to viewing during check-in/registration hours and upon completion of judging. All entries will remain on view until 3:00. Entries may be picked up from 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. All entries must be picked up and signed out by 3:30 p.m., unless prior arrangements have been made.

Open to residents of any state. Wisconsin Make It With Wool (MIWW) contestants are encouraged to enter, however, this competition is not affiliated with the National or Wisconsin MIWW competition.

CLASS 1 - Ages 5-11

1st place $30 - 2nd place $25

CLASS 2 - Ages 12-17

1st place $40 - 2nd place $30
